I reconnected with Gill at an important time in my life - I was going through immense amount of stress and change. I kept seeing her videos online of breathing techniques that could help bring more balance into my life so I reached out and I'm so glad I did!

After a few online sessions, I had learned so much that I was able to apply to my life and now these tools help me on a regular basis. I've been able to reduce my stress, regained my perspective, changed my career, and re-established my positive outlook on life. I truly attribute some of my recent successes to our sessions. When things get too hectic or before an important meeting, I carry out a little Ujjayi breathing and it levels me out and helps me focus. Gill, you're a gem and I'll always be grateful, thank you again!

During a very difficult time in my life where I felt I lost control of everything, the breathing exercises Gill taught me in our sessions allowed me to regain control of my life. Ujjayi breathing and chanting helped me combat my anxiety and panic attacks which were happening way too often.

Gill's ability to help support any journey, especially in healing, is something I haven't ever met in a human before. Accepting her help with my mental and physical well-being led me to feeling more confident. The tools we learned allowed me to create balance and bring back a level of normalization within that I hadn't felt for a while. Thank you for everything you did and continue to do for others.

I had the pleasure to meet Gill in Kaivalyadham, India, at Beyond Cancer Program which was dedicated to cancer patients. Gill was supervising the patients and assisting the teacher leading the course. I have been impressed at first sight by the genuine compassion and full dedication of Gill. Moreover, she is very skilled in Yoga and most importantly she has a deep understanding of what Yoga is truly about.

After a 2.5 year hiatus of yoga practice, I signed up for a morning class during a work conference in Kananaskis. I had pretty low expectations as it has been so long and - what could a hotel yoga class really do for me?

 

I was enchanted from the outset: lovely instruction and focus on the breath and the best part was the intermittent chanting with movement. Gill brought music, singing bowls, and cushions which made the little hotel meeting room a sacred space to rediscover what it is all about. We got to it all too - with some wonderful asanas - sun salutations, warrior 2 and wide legged forward bend. Just enough to remind me of the joy of it all! Heading back to my room after class, to my great surprise - I burst into tears - such a wonderful letting go! If you are sitting on the fence, take the class :)

Gill is a natural teacher, who excels at making Yoga easy for a beginner. She has an infectious energy and her classes are very relaxing. The body feels 10x better after just one class! Highly recommend.

I first met Gill at a Chronic Cures Yoga retreat she was assisting in Kaivalyadhama. Instantly I was drawn to her innate wisdom, compassion, and empathy. Also, her deep understanding of yoga. 

She was an inspiration to watch and learn from; she played a big part in my healing. 

Gill later conducted a beginner’s yoga course for teens in my home in the UK - all the students loved it.
I have no doubt Gill will make a wonderful yoga therapist and I hope I have the opportunity one day again to work with her.

I've enjoyed and learned so much from the sessions with Gill. From our first meeting, she was very attentive to my goals and what I wanted to get out of practicing Yoga.

The one-on-one session makes it so that I'm always told when I should adjust my form, breathing technique, or simply pause and get an answer to a question I have in the moment. I would highly recommend Gill to anyone interested in deepening their Yoga practice!
